Residents at Casa di Lusso enjoyed a unique social distancing Summer garden party.
Despite the current pandemic, residents and staff at Casa di Lusso were keen to have some fun with their ‘social distancing’ summer garden party.
The preparations for the party included making costumes for staff to wear in a fashion show. Residents decorated white overalls with different themes, such as Easter, Christmas and a special ‘Thank you to the NHS.’
Entertainment was provided by ‘His N hers,’ singing songs from musicals and the rat pack.
Residents’ loved ones were also invited to share in the fun from a safe distance.
A BBQ lunch and refreshments were served to all the residents, cooked by chef Patrick.
Funds raised on the day went the Casa di Lusso’s activities fund.
Home manager, Marlene, commented:
“Our ‘social distancing’ garden party was the perfect solution given the current situation. It was important for our residents and staff to have some fun. And for loved ones to be able to share the afternoon, safely from the car park.”
