Cedar Lodge & The Limes have four nominations for this year’s Somerset Outstanding Care Awards.
The four nominees from our very own, Cedar Lodge & The Limes, is nominated for the following, four outstanding care awards;
- Manager, Matthew Parish, is a nominee for ‘Care Home Manager Of The Year.’
- Deputy Manager, Ola Jance, is a nominee for ‘Deputy Of The Year.’
- Cedar Lodge and the team are nominees for ‘The Memory Lane Award’.**
- The Limes Deputy Manager, Dot Radford is a nominee for ‘Outstanding Contribution To Health And Social Care.’
Cedar Lodge provides residential care for people living with dementia in an extensively refurbished, warm and friendly home. While The Limes, at the rear of Cedar Lodge in a separate facility, provides residential care for younger adults living with mental health needs.
Our carers understand the importance of meaningful activities for people living with dementia. Therefore, we build them in all areas of life in the home. Life history and reminiscence work help to stimulate residents, so improving their self-esteem and sense of well-being.
