Clarence Park care home manager, Teresa Monk and domestic Supervisor, Carol Hampton will be taking part in a skydive, while raising money for charity next month (February 2018).
The skydive will take place on Sunday 25th February so to raise money for S.U.R.E; “a local Somerset cancer charity, which provides specialist cancer treatment equipment for the Beacon Centre in Taunton.”
“I was asked by Carol to jump out of a plane to raise money for this worthwhile cause and in memory of her father. As a result, my family and eight grandchildren think I am mad and they’re probably right as I don’t like heights!”
S.U.R.E. is a local Somerset charity that ends the need for cancer patients to travel to Bristol for treatment. Consequently they achieve this with the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton; helping to provide equipment for the Centre that therefore improves patient treatment and safety.
