Immacolata House’s new link with Little Pips Nursery

Little Pips is part of Curry Rivel primary school. They provide quality childcare for 2-4 year olds 50 weeks of the year! Therefore during the summer holidays (25/07/17 – 29/08/17) Immacolata House will be joining them. So every Tuesday for a hour, they will take part in activities with Little Pips.

Residents had their first meeting with the children this week (July 2017.) While enjoying getting creative with painting and homemade play-dough, that smelt of chocolate!
Georgie and Pam, Immacolata House residents, loved the afternoon, watching, conversing and interacting with the children.

Especially relevant, the afternoon brought back fond memories for Georgie and Pam;

This brings back memories; I would always have a garden full of children. From my own children, to friends and neighbours.

The little girl reminds me of my sister, with curly hair…beautiful!

In addition to being creative, 2 of the children decided they had some energy to burn! As a result they had a race in the hall, even pulling in Emma (Immacolata House Activities Coordinator.)
Unfortunately the girls proved too fast for Emma to catch up!

Everyone is looking forward to next week’s interaction…
