Notaro thank their nurses on Nurses Day
Nurses Day is celebrated every year on 12th May (Florence Nightingale’s Birthday) to pay tribute to all the hard work that Nurses do.
We celebrated our nurses with Flags, ‘I’m a Hero’ stickers and Nurses Day cupcakes!
Our Nurses also wrote down what makes them proud to be a nurse;
“Caring for others that need help. Taking the time and effort to listen to them with compassion.”
“We learn compassion, love, peace and more, by performing our daily work. We are constantly reminded of the necessity of valuing the dignity & worth of every person.”
“It is such a beautiful profession where people are cared for, and at the end of the day it gives a lot of satisfaction being a Nurse.”
“I am able to take care of people who are in need.”
“My patients are more important than me.”
“Nursing is a divine skill to be achieved.”
“Because i make a difference to residents.”
“I like to improve my skills, working in a team, i like to save lives, and be there when the poorly people need help.”
“I am caring for people, this is my dream job.”
“I can make a difference to someone’s life and make them smile.”
“When i go home at the end of the day and i’ve been able to make someone comfortable or made their day more tolerable. I feel chuffed to be in this profession.”
At Notaro Care Homes we are proud of all our nurses and appreciate their hard work, commitment and compassion. Happy Nurses day!
