Immacolata House have their first gardening club with Archie Project…

Immacolata House have their first Gardening club through the Archie Project. Since Immacolata has been teamed up with Curry Rivel school they have been going on the Archie journey together. Therefore the pupils from Years 5/6 attended the home during their after school club to help plant the sensory garden with the residents.

Green Shutters Nursery kindly donated the plants.

The children had lots of activities to keep them busy, most of all, a race to fill the pot and a who had the messiest hands competition. As a result the winner got a milky bar prize!

“It was a great start to our new Gardening Club. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and interacted well with all the school children.” [Activities team at Immacolata House]
