Clarence Park doing their bit for Children in Need 2016…
BBC Children in Need 2016 is in its 36th year of raising money to help change the lives of young people and disabled children.
Clarence Park residents and staff also play their part every year, this year for Children in Need 2016 they made a special cake.
Chef, Helen, also baked another wonderful cake this year, with Pudsey’s face and colourful spots made out of icing.
All the residents enjoyed their cakes with afternoon tea.
Anita Wingrove, Activities Coordinator, did her annual sponsored silence for one hour from 10am. Which hasn’t got any easier!
She carried a bucket to collect donations with a sign to let people know. Anita carried on with her duties in silence which she completed successfully!
The amount raised for Children in Need will be announce at a later date…
