La Fontana have joined Grow Wild – The biggest ever wild flower campaign

Grow Wild is led by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and supported by the Big Lottery Fund. They are about inspiring communities and individuals across the UK to get together and transform local spaces into colourful wildlife sanctuaries; encouraging people to sow, grow and enjoy native wild flowers.

Since the 1930s, the UK has lost 98% of wild flower meadows; which impacts on the population of our wildlife, such as butterflies, pollinating bugs and birds. Therefore Grow Wild believes that the simple act of sowing UK native wild flowers can really make a difference.

La Fontana received their Grow Wild seed kits and got straight in the sunny garden to get sowing!  See the photos below of the afternoon.
