In keeping with the fun, family atmosphere at Cedar Lodge, residents, staff and relatives are supporting Wig Wednesday this afternoon, by making and donning their own colourful wigs, all in aid of CLIC Sargent.
Residents will be enjoying a sing along with Richard and his guitar, and a line dancing competition will be held.
For the sweet toothed residents and relatives, there will be fresh candy floss from the candy floss machine and they will be hosting a raffle, with generously donated prizes from around the company, staff and friends of Cedar Lodge, such as a £60 Argos voucher, luxury chocolates and an aromatherapy diffuser.
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. They are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
We hope that everyone at Cedar enjoy their colourful and fun afternoon, and raise vital funds for CLIC Sargent.
The total raised will be announced soon.
UPDATE – Cedar Lodge raised £200 for CLIC Sargent! Well done!
