We could not be happier to announce our amazing news. Friday 15th November was the date of the South West Care Awards Final in Bristol and Notaro Care Homes had been shortlisted for 2 awards. The categories were Steve Todd, ARBD Manager of Vane Hill for ‘Best Home Manager’ and Steve Todd & Vane Hill ARBD Care Home for ‘Putting People First’.
As the envelope opened for ‘Putting People First’ there was tension and anticipation in the air around the Notaro Care Home table, this was quickly followed by cheers and rapturous applause as Vane Hill’s name was called out as the winner. “We are completely over the moon’ said Steve, who collected the award on behalf of all of the staff at the home.”It’s amazing to be recognised for the sterling efforts of all who work at the home and the great care and support we provide to our residents’. Steve had previously been quoted as saying ‘It’s our residents that empower our staff’. This quote made a lasting impression on the judges who interviewed Steve prior to making their decision on who was going to win..
Vane Hill ARBD provides care and support to individuals living with alcohol related brain damage and works to enable them to regain basic life skills to regain their independence.
Sadly Steve did not win Best Care Home manager but making the final 4 across the SW is a massive achievement in itself and we are hugely proud of him.
Nunzio Notaro, Managing Director said he is thrilled and so very proud of Vane Hill and Steve’s achievements and nominations and winning the award shows their dedication and loyalty to providing the very best care and support for their residents.
