Residential dementia care home

Stuart House is registered to provide residential care for 21 older people with dementia. The home is conveniently located within a two minute walk of Weston-super-Mare's famous seafront in a quiet residential area.

Our care team is available 24 hours a day to assist and meet the residents' individual needs, with patience, kindness and understanding.

The home 

Stuart House's small scale compared to many other homes providing dementia care is of real benefit to the residents. The familiar features and homely style of the home enhances the quality of life of residents living with dementia.

Dementia care

The home provides a progressive programme for people living with dementia in a safe environment. We support the existing capabilities of people with dementia by firmly placing the person before the illness to reaffirm their dignity and self esteem.

We understand the importance of meaningful activities for people living with dementia. Activities are built into all areas of life in the home. Life history and reminiscence work help to stimulate residents, so improving their self-esteem and sense of well-being.
