La Fontana (‘the fountain') offers innovative accommodation, in beautiful, interior-designed surroundings. It's set in extensive, landscaped grounds in Martock, Somerset - an ancient village that retains much of its old world charm.

Life is just that little bit easier for residents at La Fontana. Intelligent bedroom sensors automatically gradually illuminates when a resident gets out of bed in the night, and can even alert us if someone falls or is incontinent. A wireless care planning system ensures that no significant detail of a person's day, or their needs, is missed. See over for more information.

There are five suites named after fountains in Rome (Trevi, Fiumi, Cupido, Pantheon, San Pietro). Each has a central communal area featuring its own lounge, dining room, kitchenette and activity area.

The 51 contemporary-style bedrooms are on the ground floor, and each room has direct access to the gardens and patio.

La Fontana's entrance features a beautiful marble fountain, designed and made in Italy. The landscaped grounds consist of gardens, raised vegetable planters, ponds, and rubber paths for safety and comfort. A very special feature is our petting farm, where clients can feed and spend time with our resident animals, reptiles and birds.
