Dementia nursing & general nursing home

Immacolata House is registered to care for 49 elderly people with nursing needs, including 38 with dementia. 

The home can under some circumstances care for people under 65 years of age if we can meet the assessed needs of the individual.

Our registered nurses and care team are available 24 hours a day to assist and meet individual needs, with patience, kindness and understanding.

The home

Immacolata House is a 2 storey purpose built home opened in 2007 and providing the highest standard of care in a first class environment. The home is situated in the delightful town of Langport at the heart of the Moors and Levels. In its peaceful rural setting this prestigious home looks out across the green fields of Somerset's countryside. The home has its own much loved collection of farm animals and smaller pets living at Benvenuto Fattoria "Welcome Farm".

General nursing

There are 11 luxurious rooms in the Serena living area which accommodate residents with general nursing needs.

Nursing dementia

The home has 38 rooms in 3 living areas providing truly outstanding accommodation for clients with nursing needs who have dementia.

The home provides a progressive programme for elderly people living with confusional conditions. We support the existing capabilities of people with dementia by firmly placing the person before the illness to reaffirm their dignity and self esteem.
