Pink Girls Do US Proud
It was that time of the year again when the ladies of Immacolata House showed the men the way - and did something wonderful for charity. Not that they need any encouragement to dress up in pink - (no, not the men). The challenge was the annual Race For Life raising money for cancer research and the task was to complete five kilometres and return in one piece. I am reliably informed that all entrants completed the course - and even in a respectable time.
Our picture shows our eight plucky girls before the endurance test. (Wisely, no pictures were available after the event.) So congratulations go to Maureen Harvey, Sally Davies, Janice Howard, Katrina Rice, Angela Kiddle, Dawn Lloyd, Chris Hayward and team captain Danielle Degregorio.
We now wait to see what the men can do.
