La Fontana opens its doors

 La Fontana is set to open its doors to residents from 31st May 2011.

This 51 bed Nursing Dementia Care Home in Martock is the third impressive new build care home opened by Notaro Care Homes in the last 5 years. Expectations for the new home could not be higher as it follows on from the success of Aspen Court in Taunton and Immacolata House in Langport.

La Fontana has innovative design features throughout. Walk ways around the home are constructed of the same style of impact absorbing rubber, as is now often used in children's playgrounds. The care units all have living, green sedum roofs which will attract wildlife to the area and will bloom with flowers in the summer months. All the bedrooms are on the ground floor, with direct access to the patios and secure gardens. This five acre site in the Somerset countryside, complete with animals in our second petting farm, has outside areas as enticing as the luxurious interior.
