Clive Hits the Airwaves

Listeners to 10Radio's Thursday Breakfast Show would have heard Notaro Homes Marketing Manager, Clive Oldridge doing his stuff as a guest. Clive was invited to join presenters Phillip Knighton and Roger Dixon on their early morning show broadcasting to listeners in the Taunton area. 10Radio is a community station that broadcasts on FM and the web. Clive was invited to talk about the ‘care' business and the Fun Day at Immacolata House but was involved in the show from the start. The opening question from presenter Phillip Knighton was ‘What do you think of Wiveliscombe then?' As this was Clive's first visit and he had only seen the car park at 6.30 in the morning some tap dancing was required. "It was the first time I had done a radio interview," said Clive "and if you're not used to the environment of a radio studio it can be intimidating." Clive was interviewed about a career in care, the new care home at Martock and the Family Fun Day at Immacolata House. "I enjoyed the experience," said Clive, "and it gave us the opportunity to tell people to join us at the Family Fun Day and the job and career opportunities available in a care home." Following the show, Clive was invited to join Phillip on his afternoon show on Apple FM at Musgrove Park Hospital.
