Campania Get 5 Stars
Campania Care Home in Weston super Mare is the latest of Notaro Homes to gain a 5 star Foodscores rating for their kitchen. Manager, Milan Mores said, "I am delighted for Campania and for the kitchen staff who have worked so hard to achieve this status. The 5 stars are recognition of their work and show the standards that we aim to achieve here."
Our picture shows a delighted chef, Steve Panayiotou, with his staff Bridget Griffin and Saji Joseph at the main entrance to Campania where the 5-stars are displayed.
Environmental Health officers carry out regular checks on all food premises to make sure the public is protected and that high standards are maintained.
Under the Somerset Foodscores scheme star ratings are allocated to food premises at the time of their routine inspection and each food outlet is provided with a star rating sticker to display on the door or window.
Star ratings have been allocated to premises in North Somerset since 1 November 2007. The rating ranges from no stars for the worst levels of compliance, through to five stars for the very best standards of food safety management.
