Bonanza For Charities

Notaro Homes' managing director, Nunzio Notaro, has announced that the sum collected for charity at the Family Fun Day was a whopping £2366.47. The sum will be split between two charities, the Freewheelers and the Alzheimer's Society. Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service is a registered charity and winner of the Queen's Award For Voluntary Service. It provides an out-of-hours emergency motorcycle courier service to hospitals in the South West of England. The Alzheimer's Society works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

"Notaro Homes has an enduring commitment to providing excellent care for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's," said Nunzio Notaro, "and all staff are trained in a dementia programme devised by the Alzheimer's Society. The Family Fun Day is our opportunity to raise money for them and for the Freewheelers." The presentation will be made later this month.
