Backing Young Britain

Through the efforts of our manager Steve Todd & his staff at Vane Hill Care Home in Torquay, we are proud to have been recognised as "Backing Young Britain".

At Vane Hill we provide specialists support and rehabilitation to people with Alcohol Related Brain Damage such as Korsakoff's syndrome.

During this recession, young people are being affected by a lack of opportunities in the labour market. It's important for Britain's future that we don't lose them from the workplace altogether. Backing Young Britain is a cross-government campaign bringing together business, public sector organisations and the voluntary sector to provide more opportunities for young people.

At Vane Hill we have brought young people into the work place via work experience, volunteering and work trial routes.
