Notaro Homecare Ltd exists to support those who choose to remain in their own homes whilst recovering from an illness or an injury, or for those who wish to remain in their own homes rather than move to a care home.

We support clients of all ages, our older citizens, adults, young people and children, and we are trained to understand and recognise the needs of every individual whatever their life stage.

Moving to a care home is a lifestyle choice and not for everyone; you or your loved one may not feel ready for such a lifestyle change and you may wish to remain in your own home. Or, you may just need a little bit of support whilst recovering from an illness or injury.

Receiving care at home allows you the flexibility to continue living as you do, but with just that little bit of added support, assistance and reassurance. Staying at home means that if you have pets you won’t need to worry about who will look after them, or rehome them, because they will stay with you.

You can have as much or as little assistance as you like. Maybe just an hour or two a week or, for those who would like a little more help, we can offer you as many hours a week as you would like.

How we can help – at home, and out and about

Social companionship:

Staying independent can mean getting out and about, catching up with friends and meeting new people and even learning new things. Whatever you like to do we can accompany you to social activities and day centres, helping you to stay active and continue to enjoy hobbies.

Sitting services:

Sometimes a carer may need to attend an event, they may be ill or they may just like to take a break, or a bit of time to themselves to shop or visits friend or family of their own. Our ‘Stop gap’ service is popular for those seeking support for a short period, or a few days.

Transport:

We can arrange for a vehicle or driver to drive and accompany you to and from a doctor, hospital, dental or any other type of appointment. We can also provide transport to take you to visit family and friends too.

In the garden:

We can help with light gardening duties such as mowing the lawn, watering flowers and weeding. This service is great for those who like to enjoy their garden but just find that keeping on top of it is getting a little bit harder. And if we notice any significant problems within the garden we can alert you to any problems – we’ll generally help you to keep on top of things.

Meals:

We find that many people like the independence of planning and preparing their own meals however, we can always assist or help put together healthy light meals like sandwiches and soups. With a little planning, we can also provide tasty homemade hot meals, prepared to suit your taste!

Domestic help:

Keeping on top of things around the home can get a bit of a chore! We can help with general household cleaning such as the bathroom and kitchen, we can help with the laundry, changing beds, vacuum cleaning and ironing too.

Hairdressing:

We all like a bit of pampering, a trip to the hairdresser is often a social occasion. We can take you or we can arrange for our own qualified hairdresser to visit you at your home.

Shopping:

Shopping is also a social event for many of us, we can assist on those shopping trips or we can take care of all the grocery shopping for you, as well as vital visits to collect prescriptions, parcels, pensions and benefits.

We are here to help with as little, or as much as you choose.
